How Diagnostic Testing Supports Pet Health
In-House Lab Testing We Offer
Our in-house veterinary lab is equipped to perform a wide range of diagnostics for dogs and cats of all ages:
Pet Bloodwork
Blood testing provides insight into your pet’s organ function, hydration status, infection levels, and more. We use blood panels for:
- Pre-surgical screenings
- Annual wellness exams
- Senior pet monitoring
- Identifying infections or chronic disease
- Evaluating liver, kidney, and thyroid function
We offer complete blood counts (CBC) and blood chemistry panels on-site for same-day results when time matters most.
Pet Urinalysis
Urinalysis evaluates kidney function, hydration, and signs of urinary tract infections or crystals. It’s a critical diagnostic tool for pets showing signs of:
- Frequent urination
- Straining or blood in urine
- Changes in water intake
- Unexplained weight loss or lethargy
Fecal Testing
By examining a sample of your pet’s stool, we can detect internal parasites like hookworms, roundworms, and giardia—many of which are contagious and hard to spot without testing.
Eye Pressure Testing (Tonometry)
This non-invasive test measures intraocular pressure to detect glaucoma or low IOP, as well as anterior uveitis. Early intervention can prevent pain and vision loss.
Blood Pressure Testing
High or low blood pressure can signal heart disease, kidney issues, or hormonal imbalances. We perform pet blood pressure testing to monitor these conditions safely and accurately.
